Additional conditions for ‘Registered Users’

Limited License.

The Safer Food Group Ltd hereby grants each Registered User a limited, non-exclusive, non-sub-licensable and non-transferable license to access the content and information available in login areas of www.saferfoodsystem.co.uk according to the provisions contained herein, and subject to the payment of the applicable subscription fees where valid (no fees payable for Fundamentals Edition).

Exam entry

The Safer Food System has two Editions that feature online entry for an accredited Level 3 qualification (currently Pro and Elite Editions). The conditions of use are that only one candidate, the Registered User can be submitted for the online test and that the test must be sat within the licence life of the product ie within 12 months of the first registration of the product.

Licence limitations

Purchase of a licence allows Access to the System for a single individual for 12 months from the date of first registration.

Refund Policy

For purchasers located within the UK full standard UK consumer rights apply including compliance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. A 14 day cooling off period, starting from the first day the Purchaser Registers online to use the system. All purchasers of the System successful in gaining a refund are required to delete, not further use and not pass on to any Third Part any content from the System.

Access to Content

We strive to provide access to System on a continuous basis and will make all commercially reasonable efforts to provide uninterrupted access to the System for all our Registered Users. However, from time to time, Registered Users may be unable to Access the System due to conditions beyond our control. Such conditions include, but are not limited to: force majeure, acts of God, power cuts, and the acts of those acting outside the law. Also, from time to time, Access may be unavailable due to software issues, server downtime, increased Internet traffic or downtime, programming errors, regular maintenance of the system, and other related reasons. In response to any unavailability we will take all commercially reasonable steps to ensure Access is restored within a reasonable period of time.

All Visitors and Registered Users expressly agree to refrain from doing, either personally or through an agent, any of the following ‘Prohibited Conduct’ including:

No liability is accepted for any eventuality arising from the use of the System. All advice inferred from any website content, or given by us (members of The Safer Food Team, part of The Safer Food Group Ltd) is offered entirely without liability.
