Our Credentials...

The Safer Food Group, the developers of The Safer Food System are an official Accredited Centre for the Royal Society for the Promotion of Health, and Accredited Centre for national awarding body EDI. Both bodies are respected leaders in UK food safety and hygiene and licence and accredit us to deliver training and qualifications in Food Safety at Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4.

The [Royal Society for Public Health] (RSPH) is an independent charity formed in October 2008 with the merger of the Royal Society of Health ]and the Royal Institute of Public Health. Qualification

Two editions of The Safer Food System, The Pro and Elite Editions, include entry for a Level 3 qualification in Food Safety accredited by RSPH and EDI. The Safer Food Group (formerly East GB Ltd) were instrumental in developing this qualification and are the first to be able to offer it entirely online and via a simple submission of small portfolio of work rather than exam.

How it works

There’s no need to visit a testing centre or undertake an exam, you simply record your thoughts on each chapter as you work through The Safer Food System, then at the end and still online within your login area you complete Food Safety Management System paperwork for a theoretical business serving a simple chicken and rice dish. All the costs have been included within The Pro and Elite Editions and we’ve even included set of short videos specially to help you prepare plus unlimited free re-tests. (All the cost of this including RSPH and EDI registration, assessment, unlimited resubmissions are all included).

Once you have completed all the sections you click to submit you work to our online assessor, who either recommends you for the award, or suggests ways you can improve your responses to meet the standard required to be awarded the qualification. You are then sent an official Level 3 Certificate from EDI.
